Spiced Lamb Meatballs with Tzatziki and Pitta Bread

Ingredients
250g lamb mince
1/2 onion, grated
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
Salt and pepper to taste
100g Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)
1/2 cucumber, grated
Fresh mint leaves, chopped
2 wholemeal pitta breads
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Step 2
In a bowl, mix lamb mince, grated onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and pepper.
Step 3
Shape mixture into meatballs and place on a lined baking tray.
Step 4
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and browned.
Step 5
In a separate bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped mint, salt, and pepper to make tzatziki.
Step 6
6. Toast pitta breads in a dry pan or oven until warm.
Step 7
Serve spiced lamb meatballs with tzatziki, warm pitta bread and salad (optional).
